This Privacy Policy explains how Intelekt (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with the Intelekt website, Studio application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Merchant of Record

Creem acts as the Merchant of Record for paid Intelekt subscriptions. Creem processes payments, collects and remits applicable taxes, and handles payment-related billing operations. Intelekt provides the software service. See also our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Creem Buyer Terms.

1. Who we are

Intelekt operates Intelekt, an agent-native product operating system that helps teams define product truth and keep marketing, documentation, and AI employees in sync.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information we process when you visit our marketing website, create or use a Studio account, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with the Services.

It does not cover third-party websites or services that we do not control, including Creem’s own platforms, except as described in the payments section below.

3. Merchant of Record (Creem) and payments

Creem (Creem.io) acts as the Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions and related payments for Intelekt. This means Creem is the authorized reseller for payment purposes: Creem processes payments, handles applicable sales tax / VAT / GST collection and remittance where required, and manages payment-related billing, refunds processing, and chargebacks in accordance with its policies and applicable law. Intelekt remains responsible for providing the Intelekt software service, product support, and determining product eligibility for refunds under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

When you purchase a paid plan, payment and billing data may be collected and processed by Creem as an independent controller (or as otherwise described in Creem’s privacy notice) for the purpose of completing the transaction, tax compliance, fraud prevention, invoicing, and related payment operations.

Please review Creem’s privacy notice at https://www.creem.io/privacy and buyer terms at https://www.creem.io/buyer-terms. We may receive limited payment status information from Creem (for example, subscription status, plan, and renewal dates) so we can provision and manage your access to Intelekt.

Note: We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. Card data is handled by Creem and its payment processors under applicable security standards (including PCI DSS where required).

4. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, authentication identifiers, and profile details you provide when you sign up or connect via OAuth (for example Google or GitHub).
  • Workspace and product data: content you submit to the Services, such as product specs, brand kits, configurations, and settings.
  • Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, and approximate location derived from IP.
  • Communications: messages you send to support or sales, including email to info@intelekt.live.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: as described in our Cookie Policy.
  • Payment-related metadata: subscription plan, billing interval, and status shared by Creem for account entitlement—not full card numbers.

5. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Create and manage accounts, workspaces, and product projects.
  • Process entitlements for free and paid plans in connection with Creem billing status.
  • Send transactional messages (security alerts, service notices, billing-related updates).
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about the Services.
  • Monitor usage, prevent abuse, detect fraud, and protect security.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • With your consent where required, send product updates or marketing communications (you may opt out of marketing at any time).

7. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us host, operate, authenticate, analyze, email, or support the Services (under appropriate contractual safeguards).
  • Creem, as Merchant of Record, for payment processing, tax, invoicing, refunds, and chargebacks related to paid subscriptions.
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) when needed.
  • Authorities when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate protections.

8. International transfers

We may process and store information in the European Union and other countries where we or our processors operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (such as standard contractual clauses).

9. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context. Payment records may be retained by Creem according to its policies and legal requirements.

10. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, email info@intelekt.live. We may need to verify your identity. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

For payment data processed by Creem as controller, you may need to contact Creem directly in accordance with its privacy notice, and we will reasonably assist where appropriate.

12. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact info@intelekt.live and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by additional notice where appropriate.
